Each week in worship we learn from readings from the Bible as well as other writers. Our readings reflect our interest in learning from different voices, cultures and traditions.
At Bethel we are fed and enriched by writings from a wide variety of sources. Each Sunday we draw from the Revised Common Lectionary that many churches use as preaching texts, as well "continuing testament" readings, such as poetry, prose and readings from other traditions. These illuminate God's activity in our world with contemporary voices alongside the ancient witness of scripture.
