Columbia Gorge Peace Village

Started at Bethel, the Columbia Gorge Peace Village is a multi-cultural, multi-faith day camp for 150 kids ages 6-13 that teaches peace and sustainability practices. This is one of the largest and most successful Peace Village in the country!

In 2016, after many years under Bethel’s fiscal sponsorship, Peace Village became its own nonprofit. Many from Bethel provide leadership, organization, funding and volunteer hours to support the Peace Village, which breaks its own records for attendance and community involvement each year.
