Bethel's Covid Response

At Bethel UCC we seek a balance between decreasing the ongoing risk from SARS-Covid19, and addressing the needs for connection and caring within our church community and greater community. We want to offer opportunities for people to gather safely as much as possible, while supporting individual choices to participate remotely.

Guidelines for in-person gatherings at Bethel UCC
  1. Please stay home if you are sick. You are invited to participate via Zoom.

We encourage people to protect themselves and others by carefully considering current CDC recommendations which include:
  1. Get vaccinated - including a booster when due.
  2. Wear a mask in public places, crowded outdoor settings, and when in close contact with others who are not vaccinated.
  3. Stay 6 feet from others who do not live in your household.
  4. Avoid crowds and poorly ventilated places.
  5. Test as needed to prevent spread to others.
  6. Wash hands thoroughly and often. Hand sanitizer that containing at least 60% alcohol can be used if soap and water are not available.
  7. Cough or sneeze into your sleeve. Discard used tissues. Wash your hands!
  8. Clean/disinfect high-touch surfaces frequently.
  9. Watch for symptoms  – fever, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea. If you have symptoms, get tested.
